Established in 1989 Advantage Trailer has built a reputation for excellence as a full service trailer repair facility in the western suburbs of Chicago. Mark Behrendt, General Manager, has been with Advantage since 1990 and oversees the parts, service and accessory departments. His goal is to satisfy every customer, whether a retail customer or a commercial fleet account, by providing world class service.
TRAILER SERVICE/ACCESSORIES
The service department is experienced in all types of trailer service including preventative maintenance, tire & brake service, insurance accident work, panel replacements, structural repairs, welding, wiring, installations of accessories, living quarters, and most trailer modifications. We also carry a large assortment of accessories such as cargo control equipment (like E-Track, D-Rings, Ratchet straps, spare tire holders, vents, wheel chocks, etc.
VEHICLE SERVICE/ACCESSORIES
We also install trailer hitches, gooseneck/fifth-wheel hitches, wiring, brake controllers, Penda bed-liners, pickup truck caps, tonneau covers, running boards, strobe lights, and a variety of other truck accessories.
SNOW REMOVAL
During the winter months, we also provide sales, installations, and service on snowplows and salt spreaders, as well as stocking many parts and accessories for them.
PARTS
For the do-it-yourselfer or company, Advantage stocks a large inventory of trailer parts, accessories, and hitches. Some of the more popular items are: Thule Bike Racks and Thule Car-Top Carriers, brake parts, aluminum panels, Aluminum Tread Plate, various fasteners, lights and wiring products. We ship daily via UPS or FedEx so you can get what you need in a hurry.

You will find anything you need to organize tools, tires, fluids, supplies and parts and we will help you design your floorplan and install your accessories the way you want them installed.
We provide and install interior or exterior lighting, canopies, winches, air conditioners, cabinets - almost any storage equipment you need or want.
We will even customize the ramp door on your trailer by adding extensions or transition flaps that help you get that low-slung custom car safely into and out of your trailer.
MOTORCYCLE ENTHUSIASTS:
Going to Daytona, Sturgis, the track or on vacation? We sell and install install d-rings and wheel chocks to secure your bike during transit. We can also provide you with any special storage solutions you might need to safely transport your helmets, clothes, tires, parts, fluids - whatever you want to bring with you.
