Advantage Trailer of Chicago is a different kind of dealership. Our services include product selection, trailer design, delivery, modifications, repairs, service, maintenance, accessories, financing, warranty administration, extended warranties, and service contracts.
Here is how other dealers operate: Many dealers have a yard full of trailers on a couple acres. Their goal is to have you take home a trailer from their inventory to reduce holding costs. Other dealers offer "factory direct" - that usually means they operate out of home or a remote location. Truly if they were factory direct they would be the factory. Other dealers buy odd lot inventory, discontinued products, seconds, and then offer these as direct.
Still other dealers offer the absolute lowest price in the world. Really now, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Some other dealers represent undercapitalized start-up manufacturers that might offer low prices but often they can't back up warranties or provide product liability, without compromising materials, methods, specs or a future.
Product selection. Our goal is quite different: We want to help you solve your trailer needs with the very best or exact match to your wants and needs. Here is how we can help you:
- Advantage has a dynamic inventory of select trailers at one of three lots. Our inventory is never stale as we turn our inventory 3 to 6 times faster than the industry standard.
- Advantage also has access to over 2000 trailers at our preferred manufacturing facilities.
- Advantage Trailer also has a large inventory in various stages of production, many may meet your exact needs, other trailers might be able to be modified to meet your needs within a few short weeks.
- Advantage Trailer specializes in designing custom trailers built to various specs, needs or wants. Why compromise your expectations by taking something you don't want. Get it your way through an expedited custom build-out.
Design Services. As mentioned above, we offer our services to help you plan and build the trailer you want. We have 4 experienced trailer designers who listen to you, understand trailers, have been factory trained, and earnestly desire to assist you in getting the right trailer for the right application.
Did you know that on custom trailer orders by ATC World Class Trailers you will have a set of engineered CAD prints prior to ordering? In the process, we provide a Tow Vehicle Check List and a Car Clearance Spec Sheet so that you can be sure that you can load your car and tow your trailer without any hindrances.
How we sell. Advantage Trailer is first a brick and mortar business established in 1989. We have expanded within our current facility for 15 years, have a 17 year bank relationship, are an Illinois corporation in good standing, are not aware of any lawsuits or any unresolved complaints at better business bureaus. For years, we were a local and regional business only, until several years ago, when we began selling on the internet through various sites. We are a recognized Top E-Bay Seller with a rating of over 99%. Our customers include local retail purchasers to fortune 500 accounts. Our customers span the continent and several foreign nations. In all our relations, we realize our reputation is worth more than any quick sale. We are here to serve - providing you with a high level of comfort and trust.

Service contracts. Advantage also offers service contracts for Toy Haulers, Living Quarter Trailers, RV Trailers, and Mobile Office Trailers.
Warranty Administration. Advantage Trailer is an authorized dealer for every manufacturer that we represent. In many cases we can promptly handle warranty claims for you. Some components are warranteed directly through the supplier, however in many cases we can also get these claims resolved for you.
The manufacturers that we represent have been found to be fair in handling claims. This is a big reason why we represent these companies and why we do not represent others.
Accessories, Parts, and Service. For 17 years Advantage Trailer has been in the service business. We have a full service facility, capable of repairing most all trailers from maintenance to repairs to rebuilding and accident repairs, modifications, living quarter installations, trailer hitch installations, wiring, and much more. We also have a full line of parts and accessories in stock which can be picked up in the Chicagoland area or shipped anywhere in the U.S.A.
