Advantage Now Carrying Recreation By Design and Continental Cargo

In a continued effort to diversify our trailer offerings and meet customer needs, Advantage Trailer has added two new manufacturer partners. Advantage is now carrying trailers from Recreation By Design and Continental Cargo.

Both manufacturers are located in the trailer manufacturing hotbed of Elkhart, Ind. They are trusted brands that came by way of already forged relationships in the industry.

Recreation By Design

Recreation By Design is known as one of the leading RV manufacturers, but that’s not all they sell. They also build custom commercial office trailers, bunkhouse trailers, medical trailers, studio trailers, and more.

A third-generation family-owned business, RBD offers over 200 floor plans and custom capabilities to meet virtually any need.

“We needed a reliable source for custom office trailers, and through a previous relationship we were impressed with what Recreation By Design could produce for us — not only the build quality, but doing so with great communication and meeting our customers’ timelines,” Advantage sales manager, Jim Groveau said.

Our first custom build was a 42-foot custom office trailer for PanCare Health of Florida. It featured two spacious offices separated by a bathroom, kitchenette, and sitting area.

We currently have a 23-foot office trailer on order.

Continental Cargo

Continental Cargo fills a gap in the value cargo trailer part of our inventory. With a strong backing as part of Forest River, Continental Cargo produces cargo trailers, car haulers, snowmobile trailers, open aluminum utility trailers, and fiber splicing trailers. They also have manufacturing facilities all across the country.

Advantage will start by carrying their value-driven RSV-series cargo trailers, which are steel-frame, 16-inch on-center framing, solid cargo trailers at an affordable price point. We already have a 6’x12′, 7’x16′ white, and 7’x16′ black in-stock.

“Continental comes to us through another great relationship we have had over the years and we’re happy to bring their high-quality, value-driven products to our customers,” Groveau said.
