As 2019 winds down we are taking a look back at a few of our favorite custom trailers from the year. Of course, we will never discount the everyday trailer sales that are the meat and potatoes of our business, but the big marketing trailers that require extended fabrication are what really make us proud.
Over the next few weeks we will feature a top 10 countdown of our favorite custom trailers of 2019 as voted on by our employees.
From the sales team to the admin team to the service team, every person may or may not have played a direct role in each trailer along the way, but each person has played an important role in keeping the business going, providing excellent customer service, and getting trailers back up and running quickly, which is something to be celebrated.
#10 - National Grid First Responders Training Trailer
#9 - Harbor Hill Mobile Wine Bottling Trailer
#8 - Illini Tailgate Trailer
#7 - Spiderz Batting Gloves Mobile Retail Trailer
#6 - Hudson Boat Works Marketing & Mobile Repair Trailer
#5. The Lash Bar Mobile Lash Bar Trailer
Kicking off the top 5 in our Top 10 Trailers of 2019 countdown is a mobile retail trailer that we sent out to the great state of Utah. Melissa Watts, owner of The Lash Bar in Lehi, Utah, saw an opportunity to grow her salon by taking her services directly to her customers and this 28-foot ATC trailer allowed her to do just that.
Outfitted with full power and electrical, air conditioning, custom lighting, a bathroom, a changing room with floor to ceiling mirrors, a makeup station with light-up mirror, three salon chairs, hanging racks and storage, extra windows with shades, and custom gold sequin curtains throughout.
The interior also featured shiny gold trim to match the curtains, as well as custom black and white checkerboard vinyl flooring.
With a brick and mortar shop in place that offers lashes, bronzes and waxing, makeup, tints, blow dries, haircuts, extensions, and tanning, Watts uses the trailer as a mobile lash bar for parties or businesses who want to host a more limited range of services for their guests or employees. In addition to lash and teeth whitening services, the mobile lash bar also includes curated boutique clothing from brands such as Free People and Spanx that customers can purchase.
Could your business use a trailer for a similar purpose? Perhaps you run a tattoo parlor (we’ve done a tattoo trailer) or a barber shop or offer similar service and could reach more customers by taking your services directly to them rather than waiting for them to come to you.
