The Process

The Ask

We love when experiential agencies come to us with an idea because that allows us to use our trailer knowledge and creative minds to create something unique. In this case, G7 Entertainment Marketing came to us with the idea of creating a custom trailer that would deliver a consumer experience with shoe displays.

How We Achieved It

As these projects tend to do, the initial idea of a simple shoe display trailer blossomed into a full-blown dispensary vibe with custom neon signs, LED backlights, faux greenery walls, a false wall, a custom acrylic cash wrap, and more. One of the common challenges with stage trailers is the wheel well that separates the stage from the trailer interior. For this trailer, we solved that with a custom acrylic cash wrap that sat on a custom base that fit over the wheel well. The cash wrap had LED lighting and a holographic vinyl back wall to create the look the client wanted. For the other wheel well, we built a matte black false wall with a backlit acrylic frame and shelves behind it to provide product storage. For the greenery walls, we sourced faux moss and mounted it to a backer with backlit LED lights. We had custom neon signs made and popped retail pegs through to hold shoe bags.

The Result

When all was said and done, we brought G7’s — and Altra Running’s — vision to life and the final product stayed remarkably true to their control drawings. The trailer launched at an event in Denver, Colorado and was a huge hit. It will spend the summer at events throughout the Denver area.
